This old roof on one of the Villas at the castle caught my eye during the “Golden Hour”. The light made the orange moss stand out, and gave a nice glow to the tiles. All of the photos from this trip were made with a Nikon D200 and a variety of lenses.

Castello di Bibbione I
I just returned from a wedding in Italy at the Castello di Bibbione. The wedding, scenery and people were fantastic (and the wine was pretty good too). After a quick glance, I chose this image of 2 rustic urns on the Castle property. As time permits, I’ll be posting a few more images from this trip. Enjoy!
Paley Park Bricks and Moss
I took this photo at Paley Park on 53rd Street. The moisture from the waterfall, combined with the shade from the surrounding buildings, creates a moss friendly environment. The symmetry of the bricks, and the bright green color caught my eye. I confess to using the Picasa “soft focus” filter, to create the illusion of a limited depth of field. I use Picasa for “quick and dirty” edits on a good portion of my blog photos. Unfortunately, the G9 raw files don’t play nicely with Picasa, so I use the jpgs instead.
