The Albatross D.Va is one of my favorite biplanes at the Aerodrome. It has beautiful lines, and the lacquered wood fuselage gives it a bit of a sailing ship feel. The smoke coming from the engine was just part of the show… a little oil injected into the exhaust.

Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome 2008 – Great Lakes T2
What could be better than photographing the beautiful fall foliage you ask? How about photographing vintage airplanes with beautiful fall foliage in the background! I went to the October 12th air show this past Sunday at the Aerodrome. It was a perfect day… sunny, not too hot, not too cold, and not a even a whisper of a breeze. This shot is of a Great Lakes T2 taking off from the airfield. I’ll be posting a few more shots of the planes and people from the show, so stay tuned!
Jets’ Flight Crew
Members of the Jets’ Flight Crew were doing a promotion outside of Penn Station/MSG this morning. They were kind enough to give a quick pose for the paparazzi. Not a bad way to start the work day.
